C1qR1/CD93 in U937 Human Cell Line. C1qR1/CD93 was detected in immersion fixed U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line using Goat Anti-Human C1qR1/CD93 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2379) at 15 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red; NL001) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. Staining was performed using our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Non-adherent Cells.

Background: C1qR1/CD93

C1q R1, also known as CD93, C1q R, and C1q RP, is a single chain glycoprotein expressed on cells of myeloid origin, endothelial cells, and hematopoietic progenitor cells. In vitro, this molecule may mediate the enhancement of phagocytosis upon interaction with soluble defense collagens (1, 2).
