RS 100329 hydrochloride is a subtype-selective α_1A-adrenoceptor antagonist (pK_i = 9.6 for human cloned α_1A receptors). Displays 126- and 50-fold selectivity over human α_1B and α_1D receptors respectively. Active in vivo.
