Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with Goat Anti-Human Common beta Chain Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF906, filled histogram) or control antibody (Catalog # AB-108-C, open histogram), followed by Fluorescein-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0109).

The common beta chain, also known as CD131, is a transmembrane protein that associates with the ligand-specific IL-3 R alpha, IL-5 R alpha, or GM-CSF R alpha proteins to form high affinity receptor complexes. beta c is expressed on a variety of hematopoietic cells.
