Chemical Name: (2R)-2-Propyloctanoic acid
Biological Activity
ONO 2506 inhibits S-100β synthesis in activated cultured astrocytes. Prevents delayed infarct expansion 24 hours after permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (pMCAO) in rats; also exhibits neuroprotective effects in mouse models of Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.Technical Data
