Scientific Data
NF-H in Human Brain. NF-H was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human brain (cerebellum) using 15 µg/mL Goat Anti-Human NF-H Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3108) overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained with the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS008) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Detection of Human NF‑H by Simple WesternTM. Simple Western shows lysates of human cerebellum, loaded at 0.2 mg/ml. A specific band was detected for NF‑H at approximately 373 kDa (as indicated) using 2.5 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human NF‑H Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3108). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 66-440kDa separation system.

Background: NF-H
Neurofilament (NF)-H is a 200 kDa neurofilament protein and is one of three NF subunits. In the protein region used for immunization, human NF-H shares approximately 92% sequence identity with the mouse or rat protein.
